Myth Slayers Ministries
About Us

Myth Slayers Ministries wants to partner with parents and educators as they seek to train their children in the ways of the Lord.  At a time when so many false doctrines and relativistic theories are permeating our culture, it is imperative that our children have a strong foundation in Jesus Christ and His Holy Word, the Bible.  We at Myth Slayers Ministries want to present truth in a way that children can understand.  We also want to partner with educators and parents as they work to raise up the next generation of spiritual warriors.  When children see God's hand displayed through out mankind's history and revealed through His creation, it is our goal that their faith will be strengthened, their understanding deepened, and their love for their Savior ignited.

We believe learning occurs most readily when the child is engaged.  For this reason, we strive to present accurate, biblical information in a fun, relaxed, yet thought provoking way.  This is done through engaging stories, hands-on activities, science experiments and child-centered devotionals.

Mission statement:

To draw the hearts of children to their Creator by upholding the written Word through engaging stories, fun activities and relevant, truth filled articles and to help parents and teachers fulfill their God-given responsibility to train up their children in the ways of the Lord so that they can become the men and women Christ created them to be.  (Proverbs 22:6)

Ministry verse:

Ephesians 6:10-11 “Finally, be strong in the Lord and His mighty power.  Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes."

What we believe:

1. God’s Word is God-breathed and is therefore without error.  God’s Word is meant to be understood and applied to our daily lives. (Hebrews 4:12, 2 Timothy 3:15-16)

2. Creation reveals Christ. (Romans 1:20)

3.  Jesus is the perfect, sinless Son of God who came to earth as a man, took the sins of every man and woman upon Himself, and died on the cross to pay for the sins of all humanity.  (John 3:16, Isaiah 53:4-6)

3. Jesus is the Creator. (John 1:1-3, Colossians 1:15-17)

4.  Jesus created our world in six literal days, marked by evening and morning, as told in Genesis chapter 1 and 2. (Genesis 1, 2)

5. God created a world free of sin and death but mankind (Adam) sinned and brought sin, sickness and death into God’s very good creation. (Romans 5:12-19)

6.  We are saved by grace, through faith in Jesus Christ and not by works.

(Ephesians 2:8-9)

7.  God loves all mankind, and expects us to do the same and therefore, as believers, we must always be careful to speak the Truth in love. (Luke 10:27, Luke 6:27-36, 1 Corinthians 8:3)

8. Children are God’s gift to mankind and must be cherished and protected physically, emotionally and spiritually.  (Psalm 127:3-5)
